Lord Mahavir’s message of ‘Ahimsa Param Dharma’ will always remain relevant: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Lord Mahavir’s message of Ahimsa Param Dharma has been relevant since the beginning of civilization and will remain so in the future too. Mahavir Swami’s teachings show us the path of peace, harmony and mutual understanding. We do not just say “live and let live” but we also internalize it and implement it in our lives. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Jain Welfare Board has been announced by the state government. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was virtually addressing the oath ceremony of the All India Shwetambar Sthanakvasi Jain Conference organized in Indore from the Chief Minister’s residence.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has said that the commitment with which the Jain community follows the principle of “live and let live” is exemplary. We get inspiration to live life with the basic principles of life like truth, non-violence, non-stealing, celibacy, non-possession through Mahavir Swami and the rest of the Tirthankaras. The Jain community’s resolution of showing mercy to all living beings is commendable. Jainism teaches us to serve by remaining disciplined. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that recently on the occasion of Bhagwan Mahavir Jayanti, prayers were offered for the welfare of the entire world through Vishwa Navkar Mahamantra. The new resolutions given by Prime Minister  Narendra Modi on this occasion pave the way for the welfare of all and the upliftment of nature in the present circumstances. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, India is not only empowered socially and economically but is also giving direction to the world from a spiritual point of view. Conference President Hulas Betala, Senior Vice President Mukesh Raka, Treasurer Rajesh Jhama and Provincial General Secretary  Piyush Jain were present in the program.
