Lord Balram is the father of agricultural culture in India: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Lord Shri Balram is the father of agricultural culture in India. He was a ploughman, great strong, hardworking, pure hearted and valiant. His birthday is also celebrated as Hal Shashthi for the welfare of children. He was an ideal son and an ideal brother. In the world, the pair of three brothers Ram Laxman, Shri Krishna Balram and Vikramaditya and Bhartrihari are ideal. They are the pride flag of our Sanatan culture and our ideals. On the occasion of Balram Jayanti, let us remember him and implement his ideals in life.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Balram Jayanti celebrations in Mandla on Thursday. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directly transferred an amount of Rs 1671 crore of Kisan Samman Nidhi to the accounts of more than 82 lakh farmers of the state. The Chief Minister also inaugurated and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 24 construction works worth Rs 226.12 crore in the program. The Chief Minister called upon the people present to celebrate Independence Day with full enthusiasm and to remember great revolutionaries and patriots like Raja Shankar Shah Raghunath Shah, Rani Durgavati, Tatya Tope, Tantya Mama. He also took a pledge to develop the state. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that both our farmers and soldiers are wealth. On one hand, the farmer who provides food works hard and feeds all of us. On the other hand, our soldiers constantly protect us by risking their lives on the border. Whenever the enemies of the country raised their eyes on us, our soldiers have given a befitting reply. Operation Sindoor is a living example of this. When the terrorists made a despicable attempt to destroy the vermilion of our sisters in Pahalgaon, then our soldiers wiped out all the terrorist hideouts of Pakistan.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is the fastest developing state of India. Till the year 2023, there was a constant lack of basic facilities like irrigation, electricity, water, roads in Madhya Pradesh, whereas in the last 20 years, there has been remarkable progress in every field in the state. In the last one and a quarter years, the area of irrigation has increased by about 5.5 lakh hectares in the state. Work is being done in the state for the welfare of every section of the society along with youth, women, farmers and the poor. The state is also developing at a fast pace in the field of agriculture. The state has received the Krishi Kramnan Award seven times, is first in the country in pulses production and second in food grain production. After wheat procurement and paddy procurement subsidy in the state, now the government has decided to buy Kodo Kutki also at the support price from this year. Advanced agriculture is being done in the state, schemes like Namo Drone Didi are an example of this. Earlier in the state, only two universities had agriculture subjects, today agriculture courses are being run in 16 government and private universities of the state. Recently, one lakh government posts were recruited in the state, in the coming time, two and a half lakh more posts will be recruited. Continuous work is also being done in the state to promote industry and self-employment.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India’s pride and respect has increased all over the world. India was earlier the 10th economy of the world. Due to the efforts of Prime Minister Shri Modi, India has now become the fourth largest economy of the world and is moving towards becoming the third economy. Prime Minister Shri Modi himself for the first time did the work of transferring the amount of benefits of schemes directly to the account of the beneficiaries. In Madhya Pradesh also, we are transferring the amount directly to the account of the beneficiaries. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Mandla district is full of natural resources. Continuous work is being done for the development of the district. Even today, a large number of development works have been inaugurated and Bhoomi Pujan has been done. Work is being done for cow protection and cow promotion in the state. One village in each district is being made a Vrindavan village. Our effort is to have cow rearing in every house and every house should become Gokul. Our target is to increase milk production from 9% to 20% in the next 3 years.

At the beginning of the program, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav worshiped Lord Balram. He was presented a plow by the district administration. Public Health Engineering Minister Mrs. Sampatiya Uike, Lakhpati sisters and Ladli sisters of SSG affectionately tied Rakhi to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. On this occasion, a booklet prepared by the district administration on “Natural Farming” was released. In the program, benefits were distributed to the beneficiaries under various schemes of the government. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the agriculture-centric exhibition set up at the venue and also worshiped Gauvardhan. The Chief Minister also played musical instruments with the tribal community participating in the program. On this occasion, Public Health Engineering Minister Smt. Sampatiya Uike, Minister of State for Cottage and Village Industries (Independent Charge) and Minister in charge of the district Shri Dilip Jaiswal, MP Shri Faggan Singh Kulaste, District Panchayat President Shri Sanjay Kushram, Shri Prafull Mishra along with public representatives and a large number of farmers were present.
