Lok Sabha Election 2024: CM Vishnu Dev Sai's Public Rally at Adarsh Gram Bharati School Ground in Tamnar

In the lead-up to the 2024 Lok Sabha election in India, political parties are actively campaigning in various regions to strengthen their chances of winning. One key event is set to occur in the Raigarh Lok Sabha area, where there are 8 assembly seats—4 held by the Congress party and 4 held by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, who previously served as a Member of Parliament from Raigarh and later became Chief Minister, is scheduled to visit Adarsh Gramya Bharati School Ground in Tamnar at around 11 a.m. He will arrive by helicopter and address a public gathering at the high school field.

This visit is significant as the political balance in Raigarh Lok Sabha is evenly divided between Congress and BJP. With the Lok Sabha election approaching, BJP is looking to strengthen its position by focusing on assembly seats where its candidates faced defeats in the past. The BJP has identified weaker seats and is putting in extra effort to boost support there.

Two such assembly seats where BJP candidates lost in previous elections are Lailunga and Dharamjaygarh, both near Tamnar. During his visit, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai will aim to motivate party workers and build enthusiasm in these areas. Along with him, Raigarh legislator OP Choudhary might also join, although according to the official schedule, OP Choudhary, who also serves as Finance Minister, has a day-long tour planned in the Purvanchal region.

Chief Minister Sai’s visit underscores the BJP’s commitment to gaining ground in Raigarh, and the focus on Tamnar’s surrounding areas reflects a strategic approach to win the upcoming Lok Sabha election. The public address and meetings are likely to play a crucial role in energizing the party’s supporters and gathering momentum for the election.
