Kankhal, Haridwar: There was a huge commotion in Kankhal, Haridwar, when a leopard entered an ashram. The sight of the leopard caused panic among the devotees present at the ashram. Some brave monks managed to trap the leopard in a room. This incident reportedly took place around **8 AM** on Sunday. A leopard wandered into the Human Welfare Ashram, located right in front of the Jagatguru Ashram. Upon seeing the leopard, chaos erupted in the ashram, but the monks quickly took action and locked the leopard in a room. They then informed the forest department about the situation.
The area has been filled with fear since the leopard’s appearance. As soon as the forest department received the news, their team rushed to the scene. They are currently trying to rescue the leopard, and a team of forest doctors is also present. Efforts are being made to tranquilize the leopard. The presence of the leopard in the ashram has created a tense atmosphere in the region.
