Raipur 14 August 2025: Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, while addressing the Sanskriti Gaurav Mahasammelan and Abhinandan Samaroh organized at Dharamjaigarh in Raigarh today, said that late Kumar Dilip Singh Judev was not only a guide in politics, but was also a true flag bearer of Sanatan Dharma and Indian culture. He said that late Judev ji showed the way to return to their original religion to those who converted under pressure or external influence through “ghar wapsi”. Especially in tribal areas, he raised a strong movement against conversion and connected people to their cultural identity and traditions. Chief Minister Sai announced that a law will be passed in the Assembly to effectively stop religious conversion in the state, so that Sanatan culture and traditions can be protected. He said – “With the blessings of the people of the state and the saints, a farmer’s son has become the Chief Minister, and in the one and a half year tenure, it has been our priority to implement the guarantees of Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji.” Mentioning the achievements of the state government, the Chief Minister said that works like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, paddy purchase ₹ 3,100 per quintal, outstanding bonus distribution, Mahtari Vandan Yojana, tendu leaf collection rate increase, Charan Paduka Yojana restart, Ramlala Darshan Yojana, Teerth Yatra Yojana, Atal Digital Seva Kendra and simplification of the transfer-registry process reflect the government’s commitment towards public welfare.
Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary said that late Dilip Singh Judev, besides being a pioneer in politics, was also dedicated throughout his life for the preservation of religious and cultural values. He informed that immediately after the formation of the government, under the leadership of the Chief Minister, outstanding bonus of ₹3,716 crore was given to more than 13 lakh farmers, 21 quintals of paddy per acre was purchased at the rate of ₹3,100 per quintal and under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, about 57 thousand women of Dharamjaigarh are being given assistance of ₹1,000 per month. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, 18 lakh houses were approved in the state, out of which 26,059 houses are only in Dharamjaigarh. During his stay in Dharamjaigarh, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of various development works, whose total cost is more than Rs.100 crore. This includes works related to roads, bridges, electricity and health infrastructure. The announcements include Rs 10 crore for the Nagar Panchayat area (construction of Gauravpath, Sports Complex, Nehru Garden expansion and renovation) and Rs 50 crore for rural areas (other road-culvert works including culvert on Sariya river on Dharamjaigarh-Ongana and Khargaon-Krondha road). Also, the upgradation of Chhal Primary Health Center to Community Health Center, establishment of 132 KV sub-station (₹50 crore) and beautification of Ambetikara temple were also announced. Hundreds of beneficiaries were provided the benefits of various schemes in the program. These include smartphones, Mahajal equipment, Charan Paduka, Medhavi Education Assistance, Ayushman Card, Horticulture Plants, Community Investment Fund Check, B-1 Khasra and Map Copy and distribution of benefits under Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana. Rajya Sabha MP Devendra Pratap Singh, Lok Sabha MP Radheshyam Rathia, Kumar Prabal Pratap Singh Judev and Mayor Municipal Corporation Jeevardhan Chauhan were present on the occasion.
