Lalan Group met CM Sai regarding investment in Chhattisgarh, expressed interest in setting up a textile unit

Chhattisgarh: Representative of Sri Lanka’s leading industrial group Lalan Group Dilip Parik paid a courtesy call on Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai in Mumbai today. Parik informed that Lalan Group, which is among the largest diversified industrial groups in Sri Lanka, is active in the fields of plantation, rubber products, construction, logistics, packaging engineering and hospitality services. The group’s expertise and multi-sectoral capabilities match Chhattisgarh’s resource-rich environment and industry-promoting policies. During the meeting, Parik praised Chhattisgarh’s new industrial policy and showed interest in setting up yarn and textile manufacturing units in the state. He informed that facilities like 24-hour shift arrangement for workers, online clearance, and time-bound services by the state are attracting investors. Chief Minister Sai welcomed the group’s initiative and assured all possible cooperation, which will give new energy to the textile sector in Chhattisgarh.
