Raipur. Taking a significant step towards promoting financial literacy and economic empowerment among students, Kalinga University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Arthnirmiti, a non-profit initiative of Sunil Patodia Welfare Foundation, a leading organization dedicated to financial education.
The MoU was signed by Shri Harshdeep Singh Raina, Assistant Vice President, Arthnirmiti, Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar, Kalinga University in the presence of Dr. Shinki K. Pandey, Head of Department, Faculty of Commerce and Management and Dr. Deepti Patnaik, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Commerce and Management, Kalinga University. The partnership aims to equip students with the necessary financial knowledge and skills to make informed financial decisions and contribute to a financially aware and empowered India. This collaboration will integrate financial literacy programs into the university’s curriculum, giving students access to a range of resources, workshops, internships and training sessions designed to enhance their understanding of personal finance, investing and financial planning.

The MoU with Arthanirmiti is part of Kalinga University’s efforts to enhance the overall educational experience of its students to ensure that they are well-prepared to face the challenges of the real world. The financial literacy program is being launched in the current academic session, with a number of initiatives and activities planned to engage students at various levels. These initiatives will include interactive sessions, practical training and access to digital resources aimed at making financial literacy an integral part of the students’ learning journey.
