Kalinga University releases V Smriti 2.0 magazine on International Women’s Day
Raipur 11 March 2025: Kalinga University’s IEEE WIE AG MP Section, IEEE KU SB and Dean of Student Welfare (DSW) celebrated International Women’s Day on 8 March 2025 (Saturday). On this occasion, the magazine ‘V Smriti 2.0’ was released in the seminar hall in the presence of Dean, Head of Department, Dean and distinguished guests from ICICI Bank. All the guests were welcomed by Tilak Aarti at the entrance of the seminar hall. The program started with lighting of lamps in the seminar hall. Dr. Vijayalakshmi Biradar, Secretary and Chairperson of Women Engineering AG and Director of Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), IEEE MP Section, Lt. Vibha Chandrakar, Dean in charge of Student Welfare welcomed the distinguished guests from ICICI Banks by giving them bouquets. The chief guests of the program were Professor (Dr.) GS Tomar, President of IEEE MP Section and Ms. Pratibha Bharti, Founder of Nature Bio Plastic Environmentalist, Hyderabad were present online. She addressed the participants and wished them Happy International Women’s Day through online medium.
Dr. Vijayalakshmi informed that the articles of the magazine were written by women participants from three countries, 17 states and women of all age groups wrote articles for the magazine. The magazine consists of five sections such as healthy living, stress management, positivity, creative thinking and time for self. A total of 118 articles were included in the magazine. E-copies were made available to the faculties. A total of 80 participants were present during the program. Special guest Irshad Qureshi from ICICI Bank gave information about stock market and popular investment schemes of ICICI Bank. Mr. Irshad Qureshi, Mr. Sushant Sahu Regional Head and others were present during the program. Sushant Sahu was presented with a memento. The program concluded with group photography to make the program memorable.
