Actress Kajal Aggarwal needs no introduction. Kajal has been seen working in Bollywood, Tamil and Telugu films and proving her acting prowess. At the same time, now the actress has come into the limelight due to her recent statement. Kajal has admitted that things are quite different in the South as compared to the Hindi film industry. She says that female actors are still working hard to change the system in the South film industry, under which they are not able to get strong roles after getting married or becoming a mother.
In an interview with ‘Galatta Plus’, Kajal admitted that there is a lot of difference between the South film industry and the Hindi film industry. The actress was told how in the Hindi film industry, even after marriage, Deepika Padukone was offered a strong character in ‘Fighter’ and Alia Bhatt was offered a romantic role in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’, which is very rare in the South film industry.
For your information, Kajal is playing the role of a police officer in her latest film ‘Satyabhama’. On this question, the actress says, ‘There is still a little bit of conservatism between us. I am hoping that we will get rid of it soon. I also feel that now the new generation of actresses are married and they also have children.’
