Jal Jeevan Mission water reached the remote forest village Bardula

Raipur. Jal Jeevan Mission is being operated by the Central Government to provide drinking water to all the houses. Under this, tap water connection is being provided to all the houses in every village, due to which clean drinking water is easily available to the people. Also, they do not have to go far to get water. In this episode, tap connection has also reached Bardula, a dependent village of Gram Panchayat Boirgaon under Mainpur development block, a remote forest area of ​​the district, under Jal Jeevan Mission, due to which clean drinking water is easily available to the villagers at home. Being a forest area, earlier the villagers had to go far to get drinking water. Also, in the summer season, water was not available due to drying up of rivers and streams, due to which the family members had to face a lot of trouble for water. The government’s public welfare thinking and the initiative to provide easy access to basic facilities to the people has made the life of the people easier. Under this, Jal Jeevan Mission is being implemented seriously to provide drinking water to all the houses, due to which people are getting a lot of relief.

Mrs. Manbai Yadav, a resident of Bardula village, told that earlier she used to live on well hand pump and private bore of other people’s houses for drinking water. She was completely dependent on others for water. Also, both her daughters-in-law Parvati Yadav and Padma Yadav used to get water from hand pump from far away for water supply. They had to spend a large part of the whole day on water supply. Due to which there was delay in other works and difficulty in going to the fields. Now after taps have been installed in every house, Manbai and her family are making full use of their capacity and are progressing by trusting Jal Jeevan Mission. Manbai thanked the Central and State Government for providing the facility of drinking water at home and said that everyone in her village has got taps installed and they do not need to depend on others for water. He said that due to Jal Jeevan Mission, we no longer need to ask for water from others. The taps installed in the house are being used for drinking, bathing, washing clothes and other household purposes.
