Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the joy of participating in the mass marriage of about two thousand couples together in Jhabua is amazing and unforgettable. Blessing the newly-wed couples, he wished everyone a happy and prosperous married life. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that out of the 16 sacraments of human life, the Panigrahan Sanskar is an important sacrament for entering married life. In this, by fulfilling 7 vows with 7 rounds, people get bound for seven lives. Congratulating the couples participating in the Chief Minister’s mass marriage/nikah conference on their marriage and Nikah, he wished everyone happiness in life. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the mass marriage ceremony in Jhabua.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also symbolically distributed cheques of Rs. 49,000 each to 11 couples at the conference. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while giving gifts to the residents of Jhabua district, said that barrages will be built at Bhanda Kheda Barrage, Nagan Khedi, Galti, Chhayan, Jhalarwa, Budashala and Kallipura to solve the problem of drinking water and irrigation in Ranapur area. He said that a medical college affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya will also be built in Jhabua. All works will be done for the development of Jhabua.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the development of all sections is included in the development of the state. No section will be left behind in the race of development. As per the vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, development of all will be done with the support of all, which will include the efforts of all and the trust of all. He said that funds are being provided for the empowerment of farmers through Kisan Samman Nidhi. Wheat of farmers is being procured at the rate of Rs. 2600 per quintal. Paddy producing farmers are being given Rs. 4000 per hectare as incentive. Scooty and laptops are being provided to talented students. Ladli sisters are being provided funds under Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana every month. In the state, daughters are being given the benefit of 35 percent reservation in government jobs.
Minister-in-charge and Cabinet Minister for Tribal Affairs, Public Asset Management, Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation Department, Dr. Kunwar Vijay Shah said that he was delighted to participate in the mass marriage of about 2000 couples organized in Jhabua.
Women and Child Development Minister Ms. Nirmala Bhuria said that it is a matter of good fortune for the district that such a huge wedding ceremony was organized in which Chief Minister Dr. Yadav himself came and blessed the sisters.
Traditionally welcomed
Minister Ms. Bhuria welcomed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav by making him wear a tribal jacket “jhooladi” as per tribal tradition, tying a turban and presenting him with a bow and arrow. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav performed Kanya Pujan at the venue.
Exhibition overview
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the exhibition of various departments. Moti Aai Campaign under Women and Child Development Department Malnutrition Free Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh Day State Rural Livelihood Mission Galsan Mala, Gudda Guddi, Arrow Bow, Tomatoes and tomato products produced in the district under Horticulture and Food Processing Department such as tomato powder, Farmer Welfare and Agricultural Development Department Shri Food Crop and Organic Products, Dustbins and pots prepared under Waste to Wealth Project by Nagar Palika Parishad Jhabua were displayed.
Scheduled Caste Welfare Minister Mr. Nagar Singh Chauhan, MP Mrs. Anita Chauhan, Divisional Commissioner Indore Mr. Deepak Singh, IG Mr. Anurag, Jhabua Collector Neha Meena, Superintendent of Police Mr. Padma Vilochan Shukla and other public representatives were present in the conference.
