Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that it is a happy coincidence that on the occasion of Geeta Jayanti, Jan Kalyan Parv and Chief Minister Jan Kalyan Abhiyan are being launched in the state. In the Jan Kalyan Parv running from 11th to 26th December, there will be Bhoomi Pujan and inauguration of many development works. In the Chief Minister Jan Kalyan Abhiyan, from today to 26 January 2025, door-to-door survey will be conducted with the aim of providing the benefits of 34 beneficiary-oriented schemes, 11 target-based schemes and 63 services, providing new opportunities for prosperity to the poor, youth, farmers and women. Every eligible person will be linked to public welfare schemes through the campaign. On the auspicious beginning of Jan Kalyan Parv, an amount of Rs 1,572 crore was transferred to the accounts of one crore 28 lakh Ladli sisters of the state and an amount of about Rs 350 crore for gas cylinder refilling was transferred to the accounts of the sisters. In the Social Security Pension Scheme also, an amount of Rs 334.38 crore was transferred to the accounts of 55 lakh beneficiaries with a single click. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the sisters who transferred the amount with best wishes for the Jan Kalyan Parv and Abhiyan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also greeted the Acharyas and Batukas who made a world record of reciting the Gita on the occasion of Gita Jayanti.

Gita recitation by thousands of Acharyas simultaneously recorded in the Guinness Book Chief Minister Dr. Yadav received the certificate of “Guinness Book of World Records” for reciting the verses of Gita simultaneously by thousands of Acharyas on the occasion of Gita Mahotsav. Gita recitation was done aloud by more than 7 thousand persons, which included 3 thousand 721 Acharyas and Batuks.
