Expressing happiness over the effective implementation of Central Government schemes in Chhattisgarh, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that he is very satisfied to know that the benefits of the government schemes are reaching the lower level in an uninterrupted manner. It gives satisfaction to see the residents of tribal dominated areas getting the benefits of government schemes.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was having a virtual discussion with the beneficiaries of North Bastar Kanker district today to know the ground reality of the schemes being organized in Chhattisgarh under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Addressing the beneficiaries of the schemes in the camp organized in village Mankesari under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra being organized in North Bastar Kanker district, Prime Minister Shri Modi said that various schemes have been made to improve the standard of living of the people living in tribal areas. . The government is committed to the development of the common people.
During this, Modi also mentioned the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana and said that he is happy that his government got the opportunity to work at the lower level of the tribal society.
He had a virtual discussion with Bhuarya about the role of village Bhanbeda in the camp organized in village Mankesari under the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra. Bhumika told the Prime Minister that there are 29 groups in her village and through Van Dhan Vikas Kendra, the work of collecting minor forest produce is being done by the women of the group, from which everyone is getting benefits. Mahua laddus and gooseberry pickle are prepared and sold. On being asked by Shri Modi, Bhumika told that Mahua laddus are made and sold by the group at the rate of Rs 700 per kg.
During the virtual dialogue, the Prime Minister asked the beneficiary Bhumika what else Mahua is used for, on which the venue echoed with laughter from all the people present including Bhumika.
During the discussion with the Prime Minister, Bhumika also told that the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Swachh Bharat Mission, MNREGA, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana etc. are also being received. Bhumika told that she got information about the schemes through her parents. He also told that he and his younger brother are studying in college. On this, the Prime Minister saluted the role-conscious parents and said that it is because of their awareness that children are taking advantage of higher education.
