RCB team has defeated Chennai Super Kings team by 27 runs. With this win, RCB has qualified for the playoffs. The 68th match of IPL was played between Chennai Super Kings and RCB at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. In this match, CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and decided to bowl first. Batting first, RCB team gave a mountain-like score of 219 runs to CSK team. In response to which Chennai Super Kings team could score only 191 runs. Yash Dayal took two wickets for RCB. At the same time, captain Faf du Plessis played the highest innings of 54 runs.
In the last over, CSK team needed 17 runs to qualify for the playoffs. But the team could score only 7 runs. For CSK, Rachin Ravindra scored 61 runs, Ajinkya Rahane scored 33 runs and Ravindra Jadeja scored 42 runs in 22 balls. But he could not make his team win.
