Inspect jails and ensure arrangements for rehabilitation of prisoners: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mehan Yadav instructed the collectors to continuously inspect the jails and ensure good arrangements in the jails. Make arrangements for the rehabilitation of prisoners lodged in jails and also provide them legal aid if necessary. The Chief Minister has directed that strict action should be taken against criminals who commit crimes continuously. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was reviewing law and order in the divisional level review meeting at divisional headquarters Shahdol today. Reviewing the efforts to ban illegal sale of meat in the open in the meeting, the Chief Minister said that municipalities should make alternative arrangements for meat sellers and provide them safe places to sell meat. The Chief Minister also directed that efforts should be made to ensure that the employment of DJs is not affected. ADGP Shri D.C. attended the meeting. Sagar informed about the innovations made to maintain better law and order in Shahdol division.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that all collectors should conduct surprise inspection of departments and bring transparency and efficiency in departmental work. He directed not to harass anyone unnecessarily during surprise inspection but to motivate the officers and employees to do positive and result oriented work. The Chief Minister directed that efforts should be made to stop crimes in the tribal dominated remote areas of the state. He said that the fear of police should be removed from the minds of common people, officers and employees of the police department should make positive efforts in this direction. Inspire and encourage the youth to do positive work.
