Infrastructure development and human resource availability should be done within time limit to strengthen medical services: Deputy Chief Minister Shukla

Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla reviewed the proposed works for the establishment of Onco Surgery Department in the identified medical colleges of the state in the Secretariat and directed to ensure the arrangement of necessary resources and availability of expert human resources in time. The Deputy Chief Minister emphasized on speeding up the procedural proceedings for the establishment of CTVS (Heart Bypass Surgery) Department in Gwalior Medical College. He also directed to complete the work of establishment of Pediatric Medicine and Neonatology Department in Indore Medical College on priority.
Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla directed to send the recruitment demand letter soon by making necessary amendments in the rules to start the direct recruitment process for nursing posts through the Staff Selection Board. In the meeting, Deputy Chief Minister Shri Shukla reviewed the works of setting up Cath Lab in medical colleges and gave necessary instructions. He said that action should be taken on priority, so that heart patients can get easy treatment. He reviewed the works of purchasing state-of-the-art medical equipment and directed to complete the process in a timely manner by completing all the formalities on time. Principal Secretary Public Health and Medical Education Mr. Sandeep Yadav and Commissioner Medical Education Mr. Tarun Rathi along with other senior officers were present.
