Information about Madhya Pradesh’s history and culture will be available through virtual tour: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: In the presence of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav, an MoU was signed on Thursday between MP Tourism Board and Finland’s organization V Real to prepare virtual tours using modern technology on the state’s tourist places, historical heritage and museums. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that through these virtual tours giving a live experience, now people interested in tourism, history and culture will be able to get acquainted with the glorious history and rich culture of Madhya Pradesh while staying in their country. This will help in promoting the state’s tourist places and historical heritage at the global level and will increase the number of tourists coming from different countries of the world. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav welcomed the Ambassador of Finland to India, Mr. Kimmo Lahdevirta, by presenting him a shawl and a bouquet of flowers at Samatva Bhavan located in the Chief Minister’s residence and presented him a coffee table book displaying the state’s tourist places, historical heritage and culture.

Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla informed that Finland’s company V-Real preserves and revives history, culture and heritage by making videos through advanced technology. The company provides this virtual tour on its platform, which is available globally to educational institutions, tour and travel institutions and common citizens. With this MoU signed today, updated information on Madhya Pradesh’s history and culture will be easily available globally in virtual format. Additional Managing Director Tourism Board Ms Bidisha Mukherjee, CEO of V Real, Shri Johannes Swardstorm and other concerned officials were present on the occasion of signing of MoU.
