Influencers should bring the state’s tourism sector in front of the country and the world: Deputy Chief Minister Shukla

Bhopal: Deputy Chief Minister Shri Rajendra Shukla told the influencers that Madhya Pradesh is a state rich in biodiversity. Vindhyachal is covered with natural beauty. The waterfalls here are better than those in foreign countries. He urged the influencers to participate in bringing the tourism sector of the state in front of the country and the world and also include the beauty of the tourist places of Vindhya region in their content. On this occasion, ‘MPT Influencer Meet’ was organized at Hotel Sayaji in Rewa under Rewa Tourism Conclave with the aim of promoting the untouched and scenic places of Madhya Pradesh and making the tourism of the state known to the country and the world through digital medium. Social media influencers from the state as well as other states participated in this meet. In which, along with panel discussion, activities like influencers fun games, fun quiz, VR experience and “Caption this” were organized.

Principal Secretary Tourism and Culture and Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Shri Shiv Shekhar Shukla expressed happiness over the content creators of Madhya Pradesh as well as other places creating very good content about the beauty of this place and posting it on social media. Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, Dr. Ilaiyaraaja T said that we welcome tourists here as per the tradition of Madhya Pradesh. In Ujjain, we have started the newly built hotel Samrat Vikramaditya The Heritage, preserving the rich heritage, which will make you aware of modernity along with a unique journey of experiencing spirituality. Additional Managing Director, Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board, Ms. Bidisha Mukherjee said that the 3 heritages included in the permanent list of UNESCO in Madhya Pradesh are the stupas of Khajuraho, Bhimbetka and Sanchi and 15 heritages are included in the temporary list. There are two Jyotirlingas and two Shaktipeeths and 241 home stays. More than 400 films, web series, TV shows have been shot in this film friendly state. Ms. Mukherjee called upon the influencers to prepare good content on the tourist places of Madhya Pradesh and bring it in front of the country and the world.

In the panel discussion on Peace and Happiness in Madhya Pradesh, actress Ms. Sanvika Singh said that there is peace and tranquility in Madhya Pradesh. Here nature has gifted us such beautiful places, seeing which the mind becomes happy. She said that the Panchayat webseries has received a lot of love from the audience and the reason for this is the beauty of Madhya Pradesh, the locations where it was filmed.
