Indian women's archery team made it to the quarterfinals

The ranking round of women’s archery was held on Thursday at the Paris Olympics. The Indian team scored 1983 points and made it directly to the quarterfinals.

Indian archer Ankita Bhakat had the best performance. She was ranked 11th with 666 points. Bhajan Kaur was ranked 22nd with a score of 659 and Deepika Kumari was ranked 23rd with a score of 658. Now these three will have to play the round of 64. The Indian team scored 1983 points with 21 bullseyes. Korea was at the top with 2046 points. China (1996) was second and Mexico (1986 points) was third.

India is at fourth place after 6 shots

After 6 shots, the Indian men’s team is at the 4th place, while the mixed team is at the 8th place. The men’s team has scored 167 points and the mixed team has scored 727 points. Dheeraj Bommadevara is ranked 11th, Praveen 30th and Tarundeep 33rd.
