Indian Army, one of the best armies in the world: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid homage to the statue of Bharat Mata at Shaurya Smarak in Bhopal on Kargil Vijay Diwas and Silver Jubilee Year. Dr. Yadav reached Shaurya Stambh and paid homage to the martyrs. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inaugurated the Army’s T-55 tank installed in the Shaurya Smarak complex. Now the general public will also be able to see this tank in the Shaurya Smarak. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav paid tribute to the soldiers martyred in the Kargil war in the Dronacharya Auditorium and addressed the program. NCC cadets gave guards of honor to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav on his arrival at the Shaurya Smarak today in the main program held on Kargil Vijay Diwas in the capital Bhopal. General Officer Commanding Sudarshan Chakra Corps, Shri Preetpal Singh, Additional Director General of NCC Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh Major General Ajay Kumar along with many officers of 21 Corps Bhopal also participated.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while addressing the Army and NCC program, said that our army created a new history with Kargil victory. This victory is a symbol of the valour and courage of the Indian army. In wars, many times the courage of the army is more important than weapons, which leads to victory. Valour has been the identity of India. Enemies come to our country with the aim of destroying it for various reasons and ways, but they cannot stand before our valour. Old civilizations like Egypt and Rome have ended. But India’s existence does not end.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that after independence, India and Pakistan became two nations. If we compare the two nations today, we see that India’s goodness gives it a different place. There were wars between the two countries in 1965 and 1971 and then in 1999. When Atal ji was the Prime Minister, the neighbour tried to deceive us. India was discharging its duty as a neighbour. We have always understood our limits and dignity. Looking at the past, the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has understood how the neighbours are and how to behave with them. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Pakistan was defeated in the Kargil war. Today India can answer the enemy’s audacity by entering his home. The Indian Army is one of the best armies in the world, which knows how to deal with the enemy. The nation will never forget the martyred soldiers of Kargil. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the people of the state on Kargil Vijay Diwas and paid tribute to the martyrs of the war.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav congratulated the NCC cadets (including both boys and girls) who presented patriotic songs in the program for their excellent performance. He described the installation of the T-55 tank received as a war trophy by courtesy of the Indian Army in the Shaurya Memorial complex as important. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also visited the permanent photo exhibition of the Shaurya Memorial.

Many military and senior NCC officers including Minister of State for Culture (Independent Charge) Shri Dharmendra Singh Lodhi were also present in the program. In the beginning, General Officer Commanding Sudarshan Chakra Corps Shri Preetpal Singh welcomed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Major General Shri Ajay Kumar Mahajan gave the message to the NCC cadets to always be dedicated to discipline and national service. A memento was also presented to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav.
