India is the only country that follows the ideals of Lord Buddha: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that all of us Indians are moving forward by taking knowledge from the life of Lord Buddha and adopting world brotherhood, we are promoting the feelings of love, compassion, truth and equality. When Lord Buddha left his kingdom and went in search of knowledge and the knowledge he gave to the world after hard penance, our aim should be to follow it. The Chief Minister said that with an egalitarian society, we can pave the way for progress, development and welfare of all. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the program organized by Bharti Buddhist Mahasabha by offering flowers to the statue of Lord Gautam Buddha on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Purnima at Ashok Buddha Vihar in Ujjain. He wished everyone on Lord Buddha Jayanti.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Sanchi in Madhya Pradesh is an important religious place for the followers of Buddhism. It is a matter of good fortune for them to come to Sanchi. Sanchi has a prominent place in the Buddha circuit. On this occasion, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the date determined according to Indian astronomy, Poornima, holds an important place in itself. Lord Buddha and Sant Ravidas Ji along with other great saints and mahatmas were born on Poornima. On Poornima, when the 16 phases of the moon are complete, a divine light emanates. Such great men have illuminated the world with the light of their knowledge by being born on Poornima.

The Indian knowledge tradition is the only tradition in the world which has remained intact from the historical period to the present time. The most important thing is that it is still relevant for the society. No one has been able to challenge our knowledge which is more than 5000 years old. India is the world leader and will remain the world leader.

On this occasion MP Mr Anil Ferozia, MLA Mr Anil Jain Kaluhera, MLA Mr Satish Malviya, Chairperson Mrs Kalawati Yadav, public representative Mr Sanjay Aggarwal etc were present.
