IND vs AUS: Bad news for Australia during the Melbourne Test match, wicketkeeper-batsman ruled out of the entire series.

IND vs AUS: The fourth Test match being played in Melbourne is turning out to be a tough challenge for the Australian cricket team. After posting a massive score in their first innings, the home team is struggling in their second innings. To make matters worse, they received another piece of bad news during the match: Josh Inglis has been ruled out for the entire series.

Inglis was not part of the playing XI for the Boxing Day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. He was included in the squad as a backup for Alex Carey. Unfortunately, he has suffered a calf injury, which means he won’t be able to participate in the fifth and final Test match scheduled to take place at the Sydney Cricket Ground on January 3. Cricket Australia has not yet announced a replacement for him, but it is expected that either Nathan McSweeney or Beau Webster could be brought into the team. Both of them could join as specialist batsmen, providing Australia with an additional batting option, especially if they decide to rest Mitchell Marsh, who hasn’t bowled much in the fourth Test.

Concerns About Stark’s Fitness
With Inglis out, the Australian team is also worried about Mitchell Stark’s fitness. He didn’t bowl much on the third day, and he was not seen with the ball on the fourth day either. Stark experienced back issues while bowling on the third day of the MCG Test. He has dismissed concerns about his injury, stating that he was bowling at a speed of 140 kilometers per hour. If Stark were to be sidelined, it would be a significant blow for Australia. Isn’t it interesting how injuries can change the dynamics of a match? What do you think about the team’s chances in the upcoming Test?
