As far as the establishment of this temple, which has become a centre of faith, is concerned, the elderly woman of the village, late Padma Devi, wife of Shri Ramkaran Gaidar, did it hundreds of years ago as a result of her religious devotion. Ramdevra or Runicha Dham which is situated in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, is a centre of faith for devotees from all over the country and abroad. Since then, not only the residents of village Barwa, but the people of the surrounding area have immense devotion towards this temple and as this caravan moved forward, Baba Ramdev Mela Samiti was formed. The committee started officially organising a fair and sports competition here from the year 1994. Anyway, the history of village Barwa is exciting for other things.
