Digital Crop Survey Project: At a Glance
The Digital Crop Survey Project will be implemented in the village through the local youth using new technology (Geo Fence). The process of going to the field and taking photos of the crop will be completed easily. The photos taken by the surveyor will also be geo-tagged, so it is mandatory to go to the field and do crop survey and photos of the crop will also be available as evidence. With this, farmers will also be able to see their Girdawari and register objections. In this way, the participation of villagers can be ensured by using new technology. Along with this, information about the potential crop will also be obtained from satellite images and a comparative study will be done and if any discrepancy is found, investigation proceedings can be done by government servants. In this way, better forecasts can be made regarding the crop by obtaining accurate information about the crop. With the implementation of the project, the farmers of the state will also get help in procurement work and they will be able to get KCC approved soon. Farmers will also be able to get the insurance amount immediately in case of crop loss.
