If name transfer is not done within 30 days of registration, there will be suspension: Revenue Minister
Bhopal. Resolve nomination, demarcation and division cases within the stipulated time period. Along with the Patwari, Naib Tehsildar, Tehsildar and SDM should also reach every village for the solution. Solve the revenue related problems of the farmers by sitting at the doorstep of the common man in the village. These instructions were given by Revenue Minister Karan Singh Verma in the divisional review meeting held in Gwalior. Minister Verma also reviewed the Revenue Campaign and the activities of the Revenue Department. He cautioned the revenue officers and said that if any Tehsildar-Naib Tehsildar does not transfer the name within 30 days of registration, then he should consider himself suspended.
Revenue Minister Verma said that Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav intends that no farmer of the state should have to wander for revenue related problems. Revenue campaign is being run for this purpose. He said that in cases of transfer, nomination and division, do not wait for the maximum time limit. All the revenue officers should resolve the cases as soon as possible with positive thinking and a feeling of helping the farmers, so that the common man’s trust in the department and respect for all of you increases. He said that demarcation issues should be resolved in the presence of all parties, so that there is no further dispute. During the Revenue Campaign, Shri Verma laid special emphasis on correcting the errors in the revenue records (correction on the map) and reading B-1 with prominence.
Revenue Minister Karan Singh Verma said in the meeting that Patwaris posted at the same place in urban areas for more than three years will be transferred. He instructed the Commissioner of Land Records and the District Collector to take action in this direction.
Commissioner Land Records Vivek Porwal instructed the revenue officers of all the districts of the division to pay special attention to revenue collection. He said that in the districts where there is less progress in the campaign, they should resolve the issues by running a special campaign.
