Narayanpur, 23 May 2025: In the Jan Chaupal program organized at Basing Security Camp of Orchha development block, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai said that I have come among you people to take stock of the implementation of government welfare schemes in the area. Through Sushasan Tihar, a program was organized for the problems and demands of the public in which the applications received were resolved by the departments. The Chief Minister said that Abujhmad is a natural rich area where development has been hampered due to Naxalism. Now the development work has gained momentum due to the courage of the soldiers, with the cooperation of the central government, Naxal activities are now being curbed. After controlling Naxal activities, this area full of natural beauty will become a paradise in the true sense. Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap were also present in the program. In the program, the villagers gave a warm welcome to the chief guests in the traditional way by wearing a yellow turban on the head and putting a plume and garlanding them. The children of the summer camp welcomed the Chief Minister, Home Minister and Forest Minister with decorative items made by their own hands. He also met two school children participating in the Abujhmad Half Peace Marathon and encouraged them. During this, the children of Anganwadi presented a bouquet of flowers and applied tilak on them, upon which the three guests got up from the cot and made them stand on the cot and pampered them by giving chocolates. Apart from this, the meritorious students were felicitated and congratulated. In the program, he discussed with the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan schemes. In the program, Chief Minister Sai provided the keys of the house, approval order, first installment amount to 6 beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Apart from this, cash amount was paid to the housing beneficiary under MNREGA. A cheque of twenty thousand was distributed to one beneficiary each of the Chief Minister Noni Empowerment Assistance Scheme and Minimata Mahtari Jatan Scheme. The Social Welfare Department distributed a wheelchair to Divyang Sidu, the Horticulture Department distributed vegetable mini kit, and the Fisheries Department distributed material to the fishermen committee of Kurusnar.
Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai announced in Basing Camp that culvert construction in village Murhapdar at the cost of 20 lakhs, approval of playground for Basing at the cost of 10 lakhs, approval of repair of Bal Ashram and Madhyamik Shala in Basing at the cost of 10 lakhs, new Anganwadi Bhawan in village Murhapdar and Ehnar at the cost of 24 lakhs, approval of 500 meter CC road from Haat Bazar to Basti in village Basing at the cost of 25 lakhs, approval of 15 lakhs for new Ghotul in village Kundla, Basing and Murhapdar. A total of 01 crore 04 lakhs was approved. Apart from this, Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma and Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap flagged off 50 bikes with soldiers for patrolling of security forces. Also, Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai inaugurated the development work of 250-seater boys hostel building construction and water supply and electrification work at Orchha by the Tribal Development Department at a cost of 8 crore 1 lakh. On this occasion, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam, ADG Naxal Operation Vivekanand, Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Secretary to Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, Bastar Commissioner Doman Singh, IG Sundarraj P, DIG Amit Tukaram Kamle, Commissioner Public Relations Dr. Ravi Mittal, Collector Narayanpur Pratistha Mamgain, Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar, District Panchayat CEO Akanksha Shiksha Khalkho along with other senior officers and villagers were present.
