Raipur 27 May 2025: Under Sushasan Tihar, today the helicopter of the Chief Minister of the state Vishnu Dev Sai landed in village Kanakbira of Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district. He set up his Chaupal under the Gulmohar tree near the pre-matric boys hostel complex and interacted with the common villagers while taking information about the schemes. He said that it is my good fortune that I got the opportunity to meet you people. You people elected me as MP from this area 3 times. Today, after meeting all of you, I feel like being among the family. Explaining the significance of Sushasan Tihar, Chief Minister Sai said that after taking applications in the first phase, action was taken on the applications taken in the second phase. Now in the third phase, the government of Chhattisgarh has come to your village through Sushasan Tihar. We have worked in the interest of the people of the state in the last one and a half years. Sushasan Tihaar is also our report card and an opportunity to assess the work done by our government. Through this, we are also knowing the status of implementation of schemes on the ground. Apart from us, ministers, MPs, MLAs and other senior officials including Chief Secretary, Principal Secretary are also participating in Sushasan Tihaar. Addressing the villagers, Chief Minister Sai said that during the time of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari and former Chief Minister Dr. Raman Singh, free food grains were arranged for all the poor. No one was allowed to sleep hungry. Our government takes complete care of the poor.
Chief Minister Sai said that our government has fulfilled all the promises made under Modi’s guarantee. The government approved 18 lakh Pradhan Mantri Awas in the cabinet from the very next day of taking oath. He said that all the needy will be given housing. Those whose names are in Awas Plus will also be given housing. The Chief Minister said that we have fulfilled the promise made to the farmers and decided to purchase paddy at the rate of Rs 3100 per quintal and 21 quintals per acre. We also gave the paddy bonus amount due for two years. He said that by giving the amount of Mahtari Vandan Yojana to more than 70 lakh women in their accounts, we have opened the door to economic prosperity and women empowerment. The names of those beneficiaries who are deprived of this scheme will also be added. The Chief Minister said that taking a decision in the interest of the beneficiaries collecting tendu leaves, the amount per standard sack was increased from Rs 4 thousand to Rs 5500. He said that along with this, the Ramlala Darshan Yojana has been started and the beneficiaries have been given darshan of Ramlala. He said that our government has started the Mukhyamantri Teerth Yojana which was closed with the aim of fulfilling the wishes of the elders. With this scheme, families wishing to go on pilgrimage will be able to avail the benefits of other pilgrimage sites of their choice. The Chief Minister said that our government has started Atal Digital Seva Kendra in Gram Panchayats from April 24. All gram panchayats will be connected with this scheme and the villagers will get bank-like facilities in the village itself. He said that the beneficiaries of any scheme will be able to withdraw money from Atal Digital Seva Kendra. No one will have to go to the bank. Right now it has been started in 1460 panchayats.
Chief Minister Sai said that our government is closing all the ways of corruption. He told that along with the registration of land, the government has also simplified the process of transfer of names. He said that our government has investigated the irregularities in the PSC recruitment and taken action against the culprits. In the coming days, new recruitment will be done in a fair and transparent manner. The Chief Minister said that we want to take the country forward on the path of development. We want to establish good governance with a transparent government in the state. On this occasion, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Chief Minister’s Principal Secretary Subodh Kumar Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary P. Dayanand, Collector Dr. Sanjay Kannauje, SP Anjaneya Varshney and a large number of villagers were present. Chief Minister Sai, who suddenly reached village Kanakbira in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh district, talked to the villagers in Chhattisgarhi. He inquired about the health of Tikaram of the village. He said that no money or recommendation will work in the recruitment process. The Chief Minister also inquired about the status of electricity in the village, distribution of food grains in ration shops, receipt of funds from the beneficiaries of Mahtari Vandan Yojana. He said that necessary guidelines have been given to the officials to ensure availability of drinking water under Jal Jeevan Mission. The Chief Minister motivated the farmers to take other profitable crops including maize, urad, moong apart from paddy. He said that paddy crop requires more water. The demand for electricity also increases during summers. Therefore, farmers should also take other crops.

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai, while interacting with the villagers in Kanakbira, announced the construction of culvert on Nargi Khol Lat Nala, dependent village of Kanakbira, construction of Mangal Bhawan in Kanakbira, Kanya Hostel and Panchayat Bhawan in Godam on the demand of the villagers. The Chief Minister of the state Vishnu Dev Sai, who came for a surprise inspection in village Kanakbira, set up a Chaupal under a Gulmohar tree and started talking to the villagers. His eyes fell on the first and former MLA of Sarangarh assembly Shamsher Singh sitting below. He met him with great affection and called him near him and made him sit near him by giving him a chair. The Chief Minister also enquired about his well-being by talking to former MLA Shamsher Singh. The former MLA told the Chief Minister that he is doing social service in the area and has also built a temple.
Presented his turban to 85-year-old Bhagirathi Sahu. Seeing the helicopter landing in village Kanakbira, 85-year-old Bhagirathi Sahu came to the Chief Minister’s Chaupal with the help of a stick. Even though he was not able to see the Chief Minister speaking in the crowd, he was listening to him with full attention. As soon as the conversation ended in the Chaupal, when Chief Minister Sai met Bhagirathi Sahu, he told him about his well-being. The Chief Minister met Bhagirathi with great affection, putting his hand on her shoulder. Before leaving, the Chief Minister took off the turban from his neck and placed it around Bhagirathi Sahu’s neck to show respect. Chief Minister Sai also presented key-rings to the villagers. Left by road: Due to bad weather, Chief Minister Sai left for Raigarh by road. He also visited Maa Durga at the Durga Temple in Kanakbira.
