Under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign launched for environmental protection on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav planted saplings at Pitreshwar Hanuman Dham in Indore. Before this, they prayed for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state by offering prayers at the Hanuman Dham temple. Urban Development and Housing Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya and Legislative Council Member of Uttar Pradesh Dr. Mahendra Singh also planted saplings.

Under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, Union Home Minister Mr. Shah planted a Peepal tree in the memory of his mother Late. Kusumben Shah. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav planted a Banyan tree in the memory of his mother Late. Leela Poonamchand Yadav and Urban Development and Housing Minister Mr. Kailash Vijayvargiya planted a Banyan tree in the memory of his mother Late. Ayodhyadevi Vijayvargiya. Along with planting the saplings, he appealed to the general public to plant a tree for environmental conservation and to keep Mother Earth green and also take a pledge to protect it.
