Hemant Soren reached CM House, meeting with MLAs started

Ranchi. He reached Ranchi on Tuesday afternoon amid allegations that Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren ‘disappeared’ from Delhi on Monday. It has been told that Section 144 has been imposed within a radius of 100 meters around his house. At the same time, MLAs have started reaching his residence. After the meeting with the Governor this morning itself, the DGP said that 7000 policemen have been deployed in the entire state in view of security.

In view of the political situation arising after the Enforcement Directorate (ED) search of Hemant Soren’s residence in Delhi, Section 144 has been imposed in many other places in Ranchi. An Enforcement Directorate team on Monday reached Soren’s 5/1 Shanti Niketan residence in south Delhi to investigate a money laundering case related to an alleged land fraud and camped there for over 13 hours. During this time he searched the premises.

 

Ranchi Sub Divisional Magistrate Utkarsh Kumar said, “We have imposed Section 144 from 10 am to 10 pm within a radius of 100 meters of the Chief Minister’s residence, Raj Bhavan and the office of the Enforcement Directorate in Doranda.” Demonstrations, rallies or meetings cannot be organized in and around the areas.

 

Soren had left for the national capital on the night of January 27 and his previously scheduled government programs in the state were canceled without any explanation. According to the information, Hemant Soren reached Ranchi by road from Delhi. At present he is present in the meeting of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) MLAs to be held at his residence.
