Heavy rains continue in Kerala, landslide in Wayanad, 41 people died
Amid heavy rains in Kerala, a landslide occurred in Wayanad on Tuesday. 41 people died in this accident, while more than 400 people are feared to be trapped under the debris. Here, the army has been called to control the situation. The accident took place in the hilly area near Meppadi in Wayanad district. So far the bodies of four people have been removed. In view of this accident, the health department became alert. The news agency quoted Kerala Health Minister Veena George as saying that all other hospitals including Vaithiri, Kalpatta, Meppadi and Mananthavady hospitals have been prepared.
