The state is experiencing severe heat due to the hot winds blowing continuously from Rajasthan. On Thursday, the sixth day of Nautapa, the highest temperature of 48.2 degree Celsius was recorded in Sidhi. Nine cities were in the grip of heat wave. The day temperature in 19 cities was between 44 to 48.2 degree Celsius. More than a dozen people lost their lives in the state due to heat and heat wave.
However, due to moisture coming with the winds, the temperature in the southern part of the state also dropped from Thursday, due to which there was relief from heat wave in the cities of the southern part.
According to meteorologists, there is a possibility of some more decrease in the maximum temperature from Friday. According to the information received from the Meteorological Center, currently a western disturbance is formed in the form of a cyclone around Jammu. A trough is also associated with this cyclone. A cyclone is also formed in the upper part of the air over Uttar Pradesh. A trough is formed from this cyclone to Bangladesh.
