Strict action will be taken on receiving complaints in procurement: Shyam Bihari Jaiswal
-Instructions given to committees to buy 21 quintals of paddy per acre from farmers
Raipur 25 November, 2024: Health Minister of the state and local MLA of Manendragarh Shyam Bihari Jaiswal today inspected various paddy procurement centers of Manendragarh. Jaiswal inspected the paddy procurement centers Ratanpur, Bardar, Khargwan and Bada Bazar centers and took stock of paddy procurement. Jaiswal took stock of the facilities available to the farmers in the paddy procurement centers and also took stock of the paddy procurement process in the committees. During this, Jaiswal also honored the farmers who came to sell paddy in the committees by garlanding them and giving them coconut.
Along with inspecting the centers, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal has given strict instructions to the committee in-charges that paddy should be purchased from the farmers only at the rate of 21 quintals per acre. He said that on the initiative of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, paddy procurement work is going on smoothly in all the districts. He said that strict action will be taken against the committees if any complaint is received regarding paddy procurement of less than 21 quintals per acre.
