Raipur. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal today conducted a surprise inspection of Medical Hospital and Maharani District Hospital located at Dimrapal during his visit to Bastar district. During the inspection of the Medical Hospital, he took stock of the bone ward, infant ward, nursing ward, operation theatre and inspected the OPD ward, infant ward and Annapurna kitchen room in Maharani Hospital. During this, he met the patients and inquired about their well-being, also inquired about the health facilities being provided by the hospital. He also distributed fruits to the children in the infant ward.
He directed to keep the quality of food given to the patients better, to give proposals for necessary resources in the operation theatre and to install TV in the waiting room for the relatives of the patients. Along with this, he gave instructions to implement the model of Annapurna kitchen operated in Maharani Hospital in other districts.
Minister Shri Jaiswal directed the officials of CG Medical Housing Board to resolve the problem of water drainage of bathrooms and kitchens in the medical hospital. During the inspection, the Health Minister also inspected the toilets of the hospital and praised the cleanliness system.
