Guru’s place is paramount: Minister Tank Ram Verma

Raipur. Revenue Minister Tank Ram Verma honored 21 excellent teachers in the Chief Minister Teacher’s Gaurav Alankaran program organized in Narayanpur district. On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the Chief Minister’s Education Gaurav Alankaran Samman Ceremony was organized by the District Administration and School Education Department at AG Cinema Auditorium. In the program, Minister Mr. Verma said that the life of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan is inspiring. Teachers play an important role in molding and grooming our lives. In ancient times, the place of the Guru was paramount, in future also the dignity and respect of the Guru has to be maintained.

Minister Mr. Verma observed the exhibition organized by the Department of Women and Child Development, Forest, Horticulture, Fisheries, School Education, Agriculture, Village Industries and Health in the auditorium. He provided cheques to 10 farmers under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Yojana under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana and performed the baby shower of pregnant mothers and Annaprashan of children under the National Nutrition Month.

Minister Shri Verma honored 12 retired teachers, teachers selected for block level Shikshadoot Award and district level Gyandeep Award under the Chief Minister Shiksha Gaurav Alankaran Samman Samaroh 2024 program. Thereafter, the Panchayat and Rural Development Department provided a check of Rs 01 lakh 95 thousand revolving fund grant amount to Bihan Mahila Self Help Group Borand, Bagdongri, Farasgaon, Garanji, Palki and Bharanda and a check of Rs 10 lakh 80 thousand to Kapsi, Karlkha, Sargipal, Bamhni, Bharanda, Binjali, Kharkagaon, Devgaon and Benur under the Community Investment Fund.
