To honor the Gurus, now the grand festival of Guru Purnima will be celebrated in all schools and colleges in the state every year. The importance of Gurus will be told to the students. He told the students to join this event and express their gratitude towards the Gurus. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Guru Purnima program organized in the auditorium of Devi Ahilya University in Indore today.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav explained the importance of Guru-disciple traditions while referring to many incidents of Mahabharata. He said that Gurus also impart knowledge along with education. They teach to fight injustice and unrighteousness. They teach the art of living and donate education and knowledge. In this work, they do not even let their sufferings become an obstacle. As soon as the Guru supports the disciple, there is a positive change in his life and he starts achieving the heights of success. He said that Guru-parampara is a tradition of blessing humanity.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav, while specially mentioning Acharya Sandipani, said that Gurus inculcate nationalistic thinking in their disciples. Acharya Sandipani is a better example of this. Acharya Sandipani has taught the spirit of nation building and dedication towards his nation with his knowledge. The importance of Gurus should be in front of everyone. For this, we have decided to celebrate the great festival of Guru Purnima in schools and colleges in the state every year with full faith and devotion. He said that India has got the status of Vishwa Guru on the basis of its knowledge.

Former Vice Chancellor of Maharishi Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University, Shri Mithila Prasad Tripathi said that Gurus have an unbroken importance in life. Guru also removes the darkness of the inner self. Guru gives everything to his disciple. Guru is reflected in the disciple. Guru teaches culture and life values ​​along with knowledge. The decision of the state government to celebrate the grand festival of Guru Purnima every year to tell the importance of Gurus is commendable.

Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Shri K.C. Gupta expressed his views on the importance of the relationship between Guru and disciple in the Indian tradition. At the beginning of the program, Vice Chancellor of Devi Ahilya University Prof. Renu Jain gave the welcome speech. Former Vice Chancellors and teachers of other universities including Devi Ahilya University were also honored. Along with this, students who performed well in the essay competition organized on the occasion of Guru Purnima were also honored. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also released books written on Indian mathematics. In the program, he also honored Anshika Jain, a girl who converted Modi script to Devnagri script and prepared software.
