Message of democracy echoed through street play, human chain and awareness rally
Kurud, 7 February 2025: A grand and inspiring event was organized today at ITI Kurud under the ‘Jaabo’ voter awareness campaign. On this occasion, street play, human chain and awareness rally were successfully organized to underline the importance of voter education and democratic responsibility. The street play effectively explained the importance of voting to the trainees and staff present. The play depicted that the vote of every citizen strengthens the foundation of Indian democracy. Along with this, spreading awareness against corruption, the characters inspired the public to select capable and honest leaders.
In this event, the message of awareness was given through slogans:
“Nashe se, na note se, kismat badlegi vote se!”
“Vote daalne jaana hai, apna duty nibhaana hai!”
“Leave all your work, first let’s go and vote!”
The effective dialogues of the play ‘Now leaders will come to every street again’ and ‘Netaji Sifarash Jo Karta Hamari’ inspired the audience to be cautious of false promises and to choose capable representatives wisely. The trainees gave the message of saving democracy by forming a human chain. In the awareness rally, people were inspired to fulfill the responsibility of voting through slogans and placards. This motivational event was successfully conducted by Sweep Nodal Officer Dr. Mohit Sahu and NSS Officer Mr. Chaman Pal under the guidance of the Principal of the institute Mr. Yogesh Devangan. All the training officers, employees and trainees were present in the program. (This program organized under the guidance of District Election Officer Dhamtari proved effective in strengthening democratic values.)
