Government will make positive arrangements on the conclusions of Amrit Manthan of the seminar: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav
Bhopal. Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that whatever conclusions emerge from the Amrit Manthan of ideas in the two-day Intellectual Property Seminar organized in Indore, the Madhya Pradesh government will work to make arrangements on that conclusion. There are many challenges in the context of intellectual property law in the coming times. In such a situation, organizing such a seminar by the High Court is a commendable initiative. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that there will be no lack of coordination with the judiciary for the accessibility of accessible and equitable justice. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the seminar organized at Brilliant Convention Center in Indore on the subject of Intellectual Property Rights.
In the two-day seminar, Supreme Court Justice Jitendra Kumar Maheshwari, Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court Justice Suresh Kumar Kait, Justice Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva, Justice Justice Sushrat Arvind Dharmadhikari, Advocate General Mr. Prashant Singh, Director of Madhya Pradesh State Judicial Academy Mr. Krishnamurthy Mishra, INTA’s South Asia Representative Officer Ms. Gauri Kumar and UK Intellectual Property Deputy Director International Policy, Sarah Roberts Favell were present. The seminar was inaugurated by the guests by lighting the lamp.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that “Yato Dharma:, Tato Jai:”. Referring to the justice-loving King Vikramaditya of Ujjain, he said that his justice system will always be inspiring. The Chief Minister said that determination of knowledge property will bring many challenges in the coming times. Such an event will prove useful in finding solutions to these challenges. He appreciated the new policy-2016 made by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the promotion of judicial property. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the judiciary has always been active, an example of this is its continuous work even during the difficult period of Covid.
At the beginning of the seminar, Justice Sushrat Dharmadhikari gave a welcome address and gave information about the various sessions to be held in two days. Giving information about the institution, South Asia representative Ms. Gauri Kumar said that organizations exist in about 187 countries to work in the context of intellectual property. She said that India is playing a leading role in the field of intellectual property protection.
Advocate General of Madhya Pradesh Shri Prashant Singh said in his address that the judiciary is moving forward with full confidence in the field of protection of intellectual property. Deputy Director of the International Office of Intellectual Property Sarah Roberts Favell was wearing Indian attire. She presented necessary information regarding intellectual property rights. Justice Shri Sachdeva, Administrative Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court, discussed the strong aspects of intellectual property rights.
Hon’ble Justice Sharma and Justice Maheshwari, Supreme Court Judges, in their scholarly speeches, elaborated on the possibilities and challenges of intellectual property rights. Justice Maheshwari said in his speech that the justice delivery system of Madhya Pradesh is working very strongly, in which the state government has an important role. He said that the state government should also make arrangements for resources in making the justice delivery process easy in the future, so that the judiciary continues to do its work firmly. Justice Suresh Kumar Kait, Chief Justice of Madhya Pradesh High Court, made the participants aware of the various forms and objectives of this event.
