Gourav Vallabh: not comfortable with party's 'directionless way' of moving forward

Gourav Vallabh, a leader from the Congress party, has decided to step down from his position. He feels the party is not moving in the right direction and lacks a clear path. He mentioned feeling uncomfortable with some aspects, like not being able to criticize certain beliefs or speak against successful people in the country. His resignation comes ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.

In his resignation letter, Vallabh expressed disappointment with the party’s stance on issues like ‘sanatan’ and the Ram Mandir. He contested in the Rajasthan assembly elections in 2023 but lost to the BJP candidate by a significant margin. Earlier, in 2019, he also ran for a seat in Jharkhand but didn’t win.

Vallabh’s decision highlights his dissatisfaction with the Congress party’s approach, which he believes is lacking direction and clarity.
