When is Google’s new rule coming into effect?
Google’s new rule will come into effect across the country from May 30, 2024. After this, if anyone makes a generated deepfake porn video, strict action will be taken against him. In simple words, action will be taken against sites and apps serving sexually provocative content.

What will be the punishment for violating Google rules?
If anyone is found violating the rules, then such apps, websites and posts will be immediately suspended without any warning.

Why did Google have to take such a step?
According to Google, tools and apps for creating pornographic content were easily available in the market. Also they were being misused. Such apps were listed under wrong names on Google Play Store.
