Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that the life story of Lord Krishna is contained in the Gita and the Gita has always been our inspiration, this is the reason that today millions of civilizations of the world have been destroyed but our existence still remains. We have always given utmost importance to spirituality. Good culture, life values and traditions are paramount for us. The places in the state where Lord Krishna’s feet touched will be developed like Mathura, Vrindavan. Gita Utsav is being celebrated across the state from today till the 12th, in which the greatness and teachings of the Gita will be taken to every home. Gita, Ganga and Gau Mata are the makers of our destiny.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the inauguration program of the new bus stand in Shajapur on Sunday. He inaugurated 13 development works costing Rs 22 crore 43 lakh 37 thousand and performed Bhoomi Pujan of 11 works costing Rs 27 crore 58 lakh 64 thousand. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also participated in the Rachana Paath organized on the occasion of the birth anniversary of Pandit Balkrishna Sharma Naveen.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Pandit Balkrishna Sharma Navin was an ideal writer, freedom fighter and politician. It was because of him that the railway line came to Shajapur. I salute his strong will power and creativity. Former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee was also a great poet. Poets and writers have a valuable contribution in the upliftment of society. If Maharishi Valmiki was not there then who would have brought the various dimensions of Lord Shri Ram’s life to the people and if Ved Vyas was not there then who would have brought the various dimensions of Lord Krishna’s life to the people. I also salute the great poet of Malwa, Mahakavi Kalidas and Ghatkharpar.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that cow is extremely revered by us. Gaushalas are being built in the entire state and people are being motivated to rear cows in every house. The house where cows are reared is Gokul. Farmers are being motivated for milk production along with adequate water and electricity for farming, the government will give bonus on milk purchase. At present, the state produces 9% of the milk of the entire country, the government is striving to increase it to 20%.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to the continuous efforts of the government, the area under irrigation is increasing rapidly in the state. Describing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as Bhagirath of modern India, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that due to his efforts, the dream of former Prime Minister Late Atal Bihari Vajpayee to connect the rivers of the country is now coming true. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has approved the Ken-Betwa Link Project costing Rs 1 lakh crore. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will perform the Bhoomi Pujan of Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal Link Project costing about Rs 70 thousand crore this month. With this project, the old saying of Malwa region “Malva Desh Gahan Gambhir, Dagdag Roti, Pag Pag Neer” is going to come true again.
Medical college will be opened in Shajapur and Ayurvedic college in Shujalpur
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also made several important announcements for the development of Shajapur region. He said that in the year 2003, there were only 5 medical colleges in Madhya Pradesh, now 30 medical colleges are running, 8 are under construction and tenders for 14 are about to be issued. These include the medical college of Shajapur. He announced an Ayurvedic college in Shujalpur. He said that a potato-onion market will be built in Shajapur and efforts will also be made to make the old bypass a four-lane one. Work is also underway on the announcement of making Maksi a tehsil. He said that a bus stand costing about Rs 7 crore has been inaugurated in Shajapur today, apart from private buses, buses of the State Transport Corporation will also come here in the future.
Panchayat’s progress report handed over to two Sarpanches
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav handed over the progress report of the Gram Panchayat to the Sarpanch of the district’s Gram Panchayat Khoriaema, Mrs. Anita Patidar and Sundarsi Sarpanch, Mr. Devisingh Chhawadi. It is noteworthy that on the initiative of Shajapur Collector Ms. Riju Bafna, information has been compiled about the work done in the Gram Panchayats in the fields of health, panchayat and rural development, women and child development, agriculture and horticulture, revenue, school education. This Panchayat progress report displays numerical information about the targets and progress of important schemes in the Gram Panchayats, which will facilitate the evaluation of the schemes.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also distributed benefits to the beneficiaries at the inauguration ceremony of the bus stand. MP Mr. Mahendra Singh Solanki and MLA Mr. Arun Bhimawad addressed on this occasion. Sahitya Academy Director Mr. Vikas Dubey gave the biography of Balkrishna Sharma Navin. Social Justice and Disabled Empowerment, Horticulture and Food Processing and Shajapur District In-charge Mr. Narayan Singh Kushwaha, Higher Education, Technical Education and AYUSH Minister Mr. Inder Singh Parmar, MLAs, public representatives and a large number of citizens were present.
Chief Minister received a grand welcome in the road show
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was given a grand welcome on his arrival in Shajapur district on Sunday. During this, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reached among the crowd and did a road show. The Chief Minister was welcomed with a flower bouquet and garland from the platforms made by the citizens at various places in the city.
