Gold rose by Rs 250 in bullion market, silver jumped

Amid strong global trend, gold rose by Rs 250 to Rs 72,200 per 10 grams in Delhi bullion market on Wednesday. In the previous trading session, gold closed at Rs 71,950 per 10 grams. Amid strong trend in the global market, silver also jumped by Rs 800 to Rs 91,500 per kg. In the previous session, it closed at Rs 90,700 per kg. According to ADFC Securities Senior Analyst (Commodity) Saumil Gandhi, the spot price of 24 carat gold in Delhi market was Rs 72,200 per 10 grams with a rise of Rs 250.

In the international market, the spot gold price on Comex rose by $ 12 to $ 2,315 per ounce. Gandhi said gold rose on Wednesday with the help of soft US Treasury yields and a stable US dollar. Silver also rose marginally to $ 29.35 an ounce. Silver closed at $ 29.20 an ounce in the previous session. Commodities market was seen trading in a range on Wednesday as traders await the US CPI data to be released late in the evening and the outcome of the US Federal Reserve’s policy meeting.
