Gold again reaches record high with a rise of Rs 400

Amid the bullish trend in global markets, gold crossed the level of Rs 74,000 per 10 grams in the Delhi bullion market on Friday and the price of the yellow metal reached a new record high. According to HDFC Securities, gold prices in Delhi jumped Rs 400 to an all-time high of Rs 74,100 per 10 grams. On Thursday, gold had closed at Rs 73,700 per 10 grams. Similarly, the price of silver also increased by Rs 100 and reached a new high of Rs 86,600 per kg.

Saumil Gandhi, Senior Analyst (Commodities), HDFC Securities, said, “The spot price of 24 carat gold in Delhi markets was seen trading at a record high of Rs 74,100 per 10 grams with a rise of Rs 400. In foreign markets, the spot price of gold on Comex rose by $ 15 to $ 2,390 an ounce.
