GIS 2025: A Culinary Treat for Investors with Japanese, Thai, and Malwa’s Dal Bafla
Bhopal – Investors attending the Global Investor Summit (GIS) in Bhopal will be treated to a unique blend of flavors, including Japanese teppanyaki, Thai curry bowls, and traditional Malwa-style dal bafla. To ensure authenticity, chefs trained in Japan will be specially brought in. In addition to international delicacies, investors will also get a taste of Bihar’s famous litti chokha, green moong methi papad bhaji, and the royal Rikamaj curry. The event will highlight India’s diverse culinary heritage by serving traditional dishes in earthenware utensils, offering guests an immersive cultural experience.
Over 100 Chefs to Prepare Special Dishes
To promote the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, the summit will feature regional specialties from various Indian states. More than 100 chefs from across the country will be brought in to prepare these meals. The responsibility for catering has been given to the tourism department. These chefs, many from five-star hotels, will arrive four days before the summit to ensure everything is perfectly planned. Special chefs are also being arranged for distinguished guests, including the Prime Minister and international dignitaries.

Alongside international cuisines, investors will also get to enjoy a range of spicy, savory, and sweet millet-based dishes, showcasing India’s rich culinary diversity. Some of the key dishes include:

Following the launch of the GIS logo and official website, the Madhya Pradesh government has introduced the “Invest MP” mobile app. This app will offer real-time updates related to the Global Investor Summit, along with investment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh.
Available on both Android and iOS, the app is designed to provide instant access to information about investment policies, incentives, and procedures in the state. It features a user-friendly interface, allowing investors from around the world to explore various industries, business zones, and government initiatives.
