Raipur – Today, Commissioner of Municipal Corporation Raipur, Mr. Abinash Mishra, Additional Commissioner Mr. Rajendra Prasad Gupta, Superintendent Engineer Mr. Rajesh Rathore, Zone 5 Zone Commissioner Mr. Vimal Sharma, Executive Engineer Mr. Anshul Sharma, Zone Health Officer Mr. Sandeep Verma, in the presence of other concerned officials of the Municipal Corporation, cleaning contractors of the corporation, visited various places and inspected the cleanliness system of the city under Swachh Survekshan 2024.
The Commissioner instructed the cleaning contractors and officers to ensure priority cleaning by removing the silt deposited inside the drain while getting the drains cleaned, so that the drainage of dirty water from the drains can be done smoothly and cleanliness is maintained. The Commissioner inspected the site of the secondary garbage collection point of the corporation near Tarun Talab Danganiya in the area of Ward 40 of Zone 5. The Commissioner directed the Zone Commissioner to make arrangements for building a boundary wall and covering it at the secondary garbage collection point in Danganiya. The Commissioner inspected the cleanliness system of the Sulabh toilet and directed to ensure cleanliness in the toilets by keeping constant monitoring and cleaning them on priority basis.
