Ganesh tableaus will pass through these routes on 19th, there will be a ban on goods vehicles in the city
The main event of Ganesh tableau exhibition immersion procession in Raipur city is proposed to be held on the night of 19th September. During the procession program, Ganesh idols are immersed with attractive tableaux by the organizers with great joy. Lakhs of people from Raipur city and nearby rural areas gather to see the procession. On the evening of 19.09.2024, Ganesh idols and tableaux start coming from different areas of the city and gathering at Rathore Chowk, which will pass through Naveen Market/Gurunanak Chowk-Sharda Chowk-Jaystambh Chowk-Malviya Road-Chikni Mandir-Kotwali Chowk-Sadar Bazaar-Saddani Chowk – Satti Bazaar-Kankali Talab- in front of Purani Basti Police Station, Lakhenagar Chowk- Sundarnagar-Raipura Chowk and Ganesh idols will be immersed in Mahadev Ghat, Kharun River.
Return route after Ganesh immersion:-
01. After immersion of Ganesh idols from Mahadev Ghat immersion site, the return of vehicles will be from Mahadev Ghat Tiraha via Anicut Road – Bhatgaon- Bhatgaon Chowk-Ring Road-01.
During the Ganesh immersion program from 19th to 20th September, the movement of all types of goods carrying vehicles will be stopped from Raipura Chowk to Mahadev Ghat Amleshvar River Bridge, those who have to travel from Amleshvar to Raipur can travel via Amleshvar-Kumhari-Tatibandh or via Khudmunda-Bhatgaon- Bhatgaon Chowk.
Entry and movement of medium and heavy goods carrying vehicles into the city will be restricted during the tableau exhibition.
