Freegunj and surrounding areas will be developed as major business and cultural centres: Chief Minister Dr. Yadav

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that we are working day and night for the all-round development of the state. The work being done for Ujjain is work that enhances the prestige of the entire state and the country. These works are being done for the movement and stay facilities of devotees coming from the country and abroad in the temple of Baba Mahakal, the most prominent Jyotirlinga among the twelve Jyotirlingas, Simhastha and Janta Janardan. In the month of Sawan in the year 2024, more than one crore saints-mahants-devotees from the country and abroad took the benefit of darshan of Lord Mahakaleshwar. Development works in Ujjain are being done keeping in view the convenience of such a large number of devotees coming. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony of Freeganj Railway Over Bridge in Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that public programs will be held from 11 to 26 December in Jan Kalyan Parv. Along with this, every day citizens will be given gifts and beneficiaries will be benefited with government schemes and services. Various programs will be held in the Chief Minister Jan Kalyan Abhiyan from Gita Jayanti to 26 January 2025. Now ‘Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ will provide the benefit of Ayushman Card, Property Tax, Building Permission, Aadhar Card and more than 76 government schemes and services to the citizens. Earlier we worked through ‘Aapka Vidhayak-Aapke Dwar’, now ‘Aapki Sarkar-Aapke Dwar’ will come and solve your problems through camps. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that ‘Chief Minister Jan Kalyan Abhiyan’ has started from Gita Jayanti. Gita paves the way for devotion, knowledge and yoga. Today Lord Shri Ram is sitting in Ayodhya and giving darshan to the devotees of the whole world. Prime Minister Modi’s government is now realizing the concept of Ramrajya. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav also inspected the layout of the proposed new railway overbridge of Freeganj for the Bhoomi Pujan of the new railway overbridge. He also gave necessary instructions to the officials to complete the work quickly. This bridge will connect Freeganj to Chamunda Square. Freegunj Railway Over Bridge is being built keeping in view the population of Ujjain and Simhastha-2028. Its total cost will be Rs 91.76 crore. The bridge will be 21.40 meters wide and 633 meters long. There will be 9-9 meter wide carriage ways for traffic. Along with this, there will be 1.5-1.5 meter wide footpath and divider of 0.4 meter. Along with the construction of the bridge, Freegunj and the surrounding area will be developed as a major business and cultural center. Ujjain Mayor Mr. Mukesh Tatwal gave the welcome address in the program. He thanked Chief Minister Dr. Yadav for giving a gift of 128 crores for Geeta Bhawan. MLA Mr. Anil Jain Kaluhera, Municipal Corporation Chairman Mrs. Kalavati Yadav, former Union Minister Mr. Satyanarayan Jatia, Mr. Sanjay Agarwal and public representatives and officials were present in the function.
