Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi has given 2 big projects to Madhya Pradesh under the river linking campaign. These include Ken-Betwa mega project of Bundelkhand region and Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project. Apart from Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan will also be benefited from these two projects. He informed that soon the ground-breaking ceremony of Ken-Betwa project will be done by Prime Minister Mr. Modi. Ken-Betwa project will provide irrigation on a large scale in Bundelkhand region of Madhya Pradesh. Along with this, drinking water will also be available. This will bring prosperity to the entire region. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that by finding a solution to the Parvati-Kalisindh-Chambal project pending for the last two decades, Prime Minister Mr. Modi has given a unique gift to 10 districts of Madhya Pradesh and 13 districts of Rajasthan. Along with this, the dream of Bharat Ratna former Prime Minister late Atal Bihari Vajpayee of river linking project has been realized. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was sharing with media representatives in New Delhi on Monday the activities to be conducted in the Chief Minister’s Jan Kalyan Abhiyan and Jan Kalyan Parv starting from December 11 in Madhya Pradesh and the public welfare and development works done by the state government during its one year tenure. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the Madhya Pradesh government is ensuring the welfare of citizens through development works and innovations in various fields. During the Jan Kalyan Abhiyan and Parv being started in the state, inauguration and Bhoomi Pujan of development works worth more than 18 thousand crores will be done in cities and villages, eligible citizens who have been deprived of government schemes will be benefited and problems related to 63 government services related to the common man will be resolved on the spot by organizing camps.
Omkareshwar Floating Solar Plant and IT Park are the identity of Madhya Pradesh, efforts for prosperity are intensified Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that a floating solar power plant has been set up in Omkareshwar in Madhya Pradesh. It is unique in the country. Madhya Pradesh is making a distinct identity in the field of renewable energy. Along with this, many IT parks are providing employment to the youth. Madhya Pradesh is realizing the possibilities of prosperity by using its mineral wealth and water resources. The recently concluded Industry Conclave at the divisional level will prove useful in terms of employment growth and strengthening the economy. The target is to increase the state budget from three and a half lakh crores to 7 lakh crores in 4 years. This effort is to increase the GDP and Madhya Pradesh should be a partner in India’s resolve to become an important economy of the world. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has worked continuously in the interest of farmers and citizens by increasing agricultural production. Along with agriculture, animal husbandry is now being promoted. The Madhya Pradesh government will provide bonus on milk production. Recently, an agreement has been signed with the National Dairy Development Board. The milk production of the state is 9 percent of the country’s milk production, which will be increased to 20 percent. This will increase the income of farmers and animal husbandry. Cyber tehsil system has been started in the state in the interest of farmers, which is unique in the country.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that LPG cylinder facility is being provided to Ladli Bahans in the state for Rs. 450. An amount of Rs. 1250 is being provided every month under the Ladli Bahana Yojana. Many efforts are being made for women empowerment. It has been decided to reserve 35 percent of various posts for women. Anna Protsahan Yojana has been started in the name of Veerangana Rani Durgavati, a symbol of courage. A cabinet meeting was held in Singhrampur of Damoh district in memory of Veerangana. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that Rewa Airport has been inaugurated in Madhya Pradesh. Cheap air service has been started from many cities to Bhopal. Many facilities are being provided to the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana. PM Air Ambulance has also been started which airlifts serious patients to big medical institutions. Separate ambulances have been arranged not only for humans but also for animals.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav informed that a lot of work is being done in the field of environment in Madhya Pradesh. Under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam Abhiyan”, massive plantation has been done. Awareness has been increased by making old water sources useful and by involving citizens under the Jal Ganga Sanvardhan Abhiyan. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that extensive arrangements are being made for Simhastha-2028 in Ujjain. From the construction of roads to the work related to convenient bathing arrangements for the devotees, work is being done. There are no Himalayan glaciers for Kshipra like Ganga ji and in the previous Simhastha, work has been done to bring water from Gambhir and rivers to Kshipra. For the first time, devotees will be able to take the holy benefit of bathing with the water of Shipra itself. For this, many works are being carried out, due to which rainwater will be collected in Silar Khedi. Work is being done to save Shipra from pollution and make it a river with clean and pure water through various projects. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that education had special importance in the life of Lord Shri Krishna. After killing Kansa, he came to Ujjain to receive education. To spread the message of Lord Krishna and the teachings of the Gita to the citizens, Gita Jayanti programs are being organized at the state level on December 11.
