A major incident occurred in Durg district of Chhattisgarh on Monday, as a fierce fire broke out in the Bhilai Industrial Area. According to reports, the fire erupted in a company involved in thinning agents production, spreading to the tankers containing the agents. Despite the presence of five fire brigade vehicles at the scene, control over the fire has not yet been achieved. Following the outbreak, continuous blasts have been reported in the tanks containing the thinning agents.

Initial information suggests that the fire was reported around 6:30 PM near the JMD Chemical Factory. Subsequently, firefighting teams and administrative personnel rushed to the scene. The surrounding area has been evacuated as a precautionary measure, with a significant police presence deployed at the site. Currently, there is no information regarding any casualties in the incident.

Efforts to Control the Fierce Fire
In the industrial area of Chavni, a severe fire has erupted, with over 25 firefighters attempting to bring it under control. Water and fog are being used as mediums to combat the fire. Another factory has also been engulfed by the flames, with efforts underway to extinguish it. The cause of the fire remains undisclosed, although it is speculated to have resulted from a short circuit.
