Fine for spreading garbage and not keeping dustbin in shop

Raipur. As per the orders of Raipur District Collector Dr. Gaurav Kumar Singh and as per the instructions of Raipur Municipal Corporation Commissioner Abinash Mishra, daily cleanliness campaign is being conducted in Raipur Municipal Corporation area. Today, the team of Municipal Corporation Zone Number 10 Health Department, after receiving public complaint related to spreading of filth, met the women of Women Self Help Group under the leadership of Municipal Corporation Zone 10 Zone Commissioner Ramesh Jaiswal and in the presence of Zone Health Officer Puran Tandi, to get information about its actual situation. In the presence of Zone 10 Health Department employees, inspected the cleanliness of the shops along Amlidih main road under Zone 10 area. During this period, the public complaint received regarding littering and not keeping dustbin in the shop was found to be true during the site inspection. On this, on the instructions of the Zone Commissioner, the Zone Health Officer imposed a total fine of Rs 1850 on 15 shopkeepers for not keeping dustbin in the shop and spreading litter. A fine of Rs. 100,000 was recovered while giving them a stern warning for the future. In this way, public complaints received related to littering were quickly resolved at the zone level.
