Fake organization collected registration fees from people, caught red handed

Ambikapur. Around 3 pm in the Rajmohini Bhawan Auditorium of Ambikapur, an organization named Yuva Kranti gave information to the common people about the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program and the Prime Minister’s Micro Food Processing Enterprise Scheme and asked them to apply for Rs. 1000 per person as registration fee and 20 percent of the loan amount as security fund. As soon as the complaint about the matter of taking came to notice, on the instructions of Collector Vilas Bhoskar, SDM Ambikapur Fagesh Sinha, General Manager, District Trade and Industry Centre, LDM Surguja, Branch Manager BOI, Assistant Director Agriculture Department formed a team and raided.
During investigation, it was revealed that the organizers of the program are the so-called Branch Manager Youth Cooperative Bank, whose address was given as First Floor, Singh Complex, Bengali Chowk, Ambikapur, Patna, Vivek Kumar resident of Bihar, Dhanraj Gir resident of Jharkhand and Indradev resident of Rajpur from Balrampur. Whom the administrative team caught on the spot. In the fake workshop, the common people were being duped by giving misleading and incorrect information regarding loans under the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program and the Prime Minister’s Micro Food Processing Enterprises Scheme of the Industries Department. During the action, the above three accepted to take the security fund amount from the common people in their bank.
The general public participants of the sponsored program Neelam Sahu, Santosh Vishwakarma, Pavitra Pradhan, Ashok Kumar Kushwaha and Jagjit Singh were informed that the security fund for the Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Program has been given to the said organization by them and the receipt was also shown.
The team seized items from the spot which included two banners, dummy check of Youth Cooperative Bank, UCBL Bank passbook, pamphlet, company registration certificate, PAN card, NSDL registration, firm account details. The team prepared the Panchnama in front of the participants, through which further legal action would be ensured under the guidance of the Collector.
